Founded by Emma Rance in 2015, ISHA was created with a simple vision: to offer a more elevated and personalised alternative to the traditional piercing studio experience.
Having begun her piercing career in 1998 as Weymouth’s first female body piercer, Emma wanted to create a space where exceptional jewellery, anatomy-led piercing and genuine client care existed side by side.
Over the years, ISHA has grown into one of the South West’s most respected piercing and jewellery destinations, welcoming clients from across Dorset and throughout the UK.
Today, the studio is known for its carefully curated jewellery collections, personalised approach and commitment to professional standards.

Emma specialises in advanced ear projects, anatomy-led placements, jewellery styling and long-term curation plans. Combining technical expertise with a keen eye for aesthetics, she is known for creating balanced, wearable and highly personalised piercing projects tailored to each client’s anatomy, lifestyle and goals.
As a member of both APP and UKAPP, Emma remains committed to ongoing professional education and the highest standards of safety and professionalism. She is also proud to serve on the ProTeam for both Junipurr Jewellery and Stiletto Piercing Supplies, making her the only piercer in Dorset to hold these prestigious positions.
Particularly passionate about ear curation, fine body jewellery and Forever Jewellery, Emma enjoys helping clients build collections that evolve over time, whether through a single carefully considered piercing or a complete jewellery transformation. Her calm, reassuring approach helps clients feel relaxed and confident, whether they’re booking their first piercing or embarking on a complex long-term curation project.
STEPH SILOM: Apprentice Piercer & Jewellery Stylist
Steph joined ISHA in 2023, bringing valuable experience from the body jewellery retail sector and a genuine passion for the industry. Working under Emma’s direct mentorship, she is developing her professional piercing skills while upholding the high standards that define the studio.
As a member of UKAPP, Steph offers jewellery changes, removals, standard body piercings and Forever Jewellery appointments. Her warm, approachable nature and growing expertise help clients feel comfortable, supported and confident throughout their visit.
Steph is passionate about creating a welcoming experience for every client and takes great pride in helping people feel excited and confident about their piercing journey.
LAURYN HASKINS: Jewellery Stylist & Forever Jewellery Welder
Lauryn joined ISHA in 2025, bringing experience from both the beauty industry and high-street jewellery retail. Her background gives her a keen eye for jewellery styling, customer care and helping clients find pieces that suit their individual style.
As a Jewellery Stylist at ISHA, Lauryn assists clients with jewellery selection, styling appointments and Forever Jewellery. Her friendly personality, attention to detail and passion for helping clients find the perfect pieces contribute greatly to the welcoming experience ISHA is known for.
Whether assisting with a jewellery upgrade or helping someone choose their first special piece, Lauryn is dedicated to making every visit enjoyable, relaxed and personalised.
