Founded byEmma in 2015, Isha grew from a lifelong passion for precision, art, and care. Emma started her piercing career in 1998, becoming Weymouth’s first female piercer. After years of experience, family life, and even time spent in marine conservation, she returned to her craft — this time with a focus on quality, safety, and individuality.
Now based in Tudor Arcade, Dorchester, Isha has become a space where professionalism meets personality — and where every client is treated with warmth and respect.
We take hygiene seriously. All tools and piercing jewellery are sterilised in a medical-grade autoclave. Our jewellery meets or exceeds APP standards, and everything we use is made of implant-grade titanium, niobium, or solid gold.
We’re proud to be members of both the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) and the UK Association of Professional Piercers (UKAPP). This means our practices meet global standards for safety, education, and ethics — giving you complete peace of mind that you’re in expert hands.

With over two decades of experience and a background in healthcare, Emma combines precision with kindness. She’s known for her gentle approach and deep understanding of anatomy, making every piercing experience safe and positive.
Steph began her piercing apprenticeship in 2024 under Emma’s guidance. Her professionalism, jewellery experience and friendly nature have made her a wonderful addition to the team. Steph is now available for standard piercings,offering a safe and comfortable experience for clients.
Lauryn brings creativity, organisation, and sparkle to our studio with her background in Beauty Therapy and jewellery sales. She's always ready to help you find the perfect piece — or guide you through our Forever Welded Jewellery experience.
Ayisha is Emma’s daughter and an occasional but much-loved face in the shop. While she works full-time outside of Isha, she brings years of experience in both piercing and jewellery to her role as a Jewellery Sales Adviser. Her insight, style, and understanding of quality jewellery make her a valued member of the Isha family whenever she’s in the studio.
Our Forever Welded Jewellery service offers a clasp-free, seamless bracelet, ring or anklet — custom-fitted and gently welded to create a permanent, elegant piece. Available with Steph and Lauryn, this experience is perfect for marking milestones, friendships, or simply adding a touch of everyday luxury.
