Refund policy

At Isha Body Jewellery, we take great pride in offering high quality body jewellery and professional piercing services with a strong focus on safety, hygiene, craftsmanship and customer care.

Please read the following information carefully before placing an order or booking an appointment.


CANCELLATION OF ORDER

Orders may be edited, changed or cancelled prior to packaging and/or shipping.

If a refund is requested after packaging has commenced, a £2.00 packaging fee may be deducted from the refund to cover packaging materials and preparation costs.

UNWANTED ITEMS

We offer refunds or store credit on unopened, undamaged and “as-new” returned jewellery.

Returns are accepted where requested within 30 days of receipt of delivery.

Jewellery and packaging must remain in the same condition as received. Internal packaging, hygiene seals and void seals must remain fully intact, untampered and unopened.

Non-faulty returns sent back:

  • worn

  • opened

  • inserted

  • tampered with

  • or with broken hygiene seals

will not be refunded or returned.

For hygiene and safety reasons, such items may be treated as biohazard items and disposed of appropriately.

Body jewellery and earrings are classed as sealed personal goods for hygiene purposes and do not automatically qualify for cancellation rights once opened under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

This legislation exists to protect both customers and staff.


ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

Eligible unworn jewellery may be returned where:

  • the hygiene seal remains fully intact

  • the jewellery is unused and unworn

  • the item is returned in original packaging

  • the return request is submitted within 30 days of delivery

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.

All returned jewellery is inspected upon receipt before any refund, replacement or store credit is approved.


REQUEST A STANDARD RETURN (NON-WARRANTY)

A Return Request must be submitted using the instructions below. Returns sent back without this process may not be accepted.

To request a return:

  • Click the profile icon in the navigation bar to log into your Customer Account.

  • On mobile devices, scroll to the footer menu and select “Customer Log In”.

  • Enter your email address and click Continue.

  • Open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code.

  • Return to the website and enter the verification code.

  • Select the order you wish to return.

  • Select the relevant item(s).

  • Choose a return reason and add any relevant notes.

  • Click Request Return.

If your return request is approved and requires posting, you will receive a confirmation email with full return instructions.


RETURN POSTAGE

Unwanted item return postage must be paid at the customer’s expense.

Customers are responsible for ensuring sufficient postal insurance and proof of posting is obtained. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured postal service appropriate for the value of the jewellery being returned.

Isha Body Jewellery cannot guarantee receipt of returned items and accepts no responsibility for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Original postage and packaging charges are non-refundable unless legally required or where an error has occurred on our part.


REFUNDS & STORE CREDIT

Providing the item is returned safely and in brand new, unopened condition, we will offer either:

  • refund to the original payment method
    OR

  • store credit in the form of an online gift card

Refunds and credits apply only to the jewellery value and do not include original shipping costs.

Refunds usually take 3–10 business days from the date issued, depending on the payment provider used at checkout.

Klarna and Clearpay payments already made will be refunded and the payment plan cancelled in accordance with the provider’s own processing times and policies.

INCORRECT ORDERS, DAMAGED OR FAULTY ITEMS

In the rare event that an incorrect, faulty or damaged item is received, Isha Body Jewellery will accept full responsibility and offer an appropriate replacement, repair or refund.

Claims of this nature must be submitted within 30 days of receipt of delivery.

Please note:

Forced damage, misuse or evidence of foul play — including but not limited to damaged hinges, bent seam rings, distorted clickers or damaged gemstone settings — will not qualify for refund or replacement.

Items deemed faulty due to manufacturing defects may be repaired, replaced or refunded where appropriate.


LIFETIME GUARANTEE ON BRANDED JEWELLERY

We offer a lifetime workmanship guarantee on jewellery manufactured by the following brands:

  • Anatometal

  • BVLA

  • Clickerino

  • Industrial Strength

  • Junipurr

  • LeRoi

  • Modern Mood

  • NeoMetal

The guarantee covers manufacturing defects in workmanship, such as:

  • unreliable fasteners

  • faulty hinges

  • fallen stones

  • manufacturing failures

The guarantee does not cover:

  • loss

  • accidental damage

  • transportation damage

  • improper storage

  • improper insertion or use

  • repeated stress strain on pin anchorage points

  • exposure to solvents or chemicals

  • modifications or unauthorised repairs

  • failure to follow care instructions

  • normal wear and tear

  • external damage, abuse or accidental impact

  • damage caused by mixing incompatible threaded jewellery brands

We strongly recommend obtaining appropriate insurance for valuable jewellery items.

The faulty item will require returning to us for manufacturer assessment.

Where a workmanship fault is confirmed:

  • the item will be repaired
    OR

  • replaced where repair is not possible

Refunds are not available on warranty items.

For approved warranty claims, return postage costs will be covered under the guarantee.

Please note:

The final decision regarding warranty eligibility lies with the manufacturer.

Where a claim is rejected by the manufacturer, repair and postage costs may be payable by the customer.

In some circumstances, manufacturers may permit returns through another authorised stockist closer to the customer’s location.

Please contact us before arranging any warranty return.


GIFT CARDS

Our separate Gift Card Terms policy governs Gift Cards.

  • lost or stolen Gift Cards

Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.


PIERCING SERVICES & APPOINTMENTS

Piercing appointments, booking payments, identification requirements and cancellation terms are governed by our separate Booking Cancellation Policy.

By booking an appointment with Isha Body Jewellery, clients agree to the terms outlined within this policy.
