Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Isha Body Jewellery, every appointment is prepared in advance to ensure the highest standards of safety, sterility and personalised care.

Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve dedicated clinical time and prepare for your visit. Because this appointment time is reserved exclusively for you, late changes can prevent other clients from accessing available appointments.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled online using the link in your booking confirmation email up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Where possible, please use your confirmation email to make changes, as messages sent via social media, email or voicemail cannot always be monitored in real time and may not be accepted as valid notice.

If you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice, your booking payment may be transferred to a future appointment or refunded to the original payment method on request.

Late Changes, Missed Appointments & Arrival Issues

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, missed appointments or late arrivals will result in the booking payment being retained. This also applies where a client is unable to proceed due to not meeting appointment requirements, including arriving too late, attending without required identification, or booking a service that is not suitable under our age policy or booking guidance.

Identification Requirements

Valid original government-issued photo ID may be required to verify age and identity. Electronic copies, screenshots or photographed ID cannot be accepted.

Lobe piercings are the only piercing service offered to clients aged 8–15. These clients must attend with a parent or legal guardian, and both the child and attending adult must bring valid original photo ID. Clients aged 16+ may attend alone and self-certify, however photo ID may still be requested where age or identity verification is required. Failure to present the required ID will result in the appointment being unable to proceed and the booking payment being retained.

Medical Conditions

Certain medical conditions may require written approval from a GP or other appropriate medical professional prior to your appointment. This may include, but is not limited to, heart conditions, epilepsy, diabetes and haemophilia. If you are unsure whether this applies to you, please contact the studio before booking. Failure to obtain appropriate medical clearance where required may result in your appointment being unable to proceed and the booking payment being retained.

Service Suitability

All services remain subject to anatomical assessment and professional judgement on the day. Where a service cannot proceed for clinical safety reasons, we will advise on suitable next steps and any available rescheduling options.

Illness & Emergencies

We understand that genuine illness and unexpected emergencies can occur and will exercise reasonable discretion where appropriate.

Refunds

Refunds, where approved, will be returned to the original payment method. Please allow normal banking timeframes for funds to appear.
