Isha Body Jewellery Service Booking Cancellation Policy

Appointment cancellations are accepted only by phone at 01305 266434 or via the “cancellation” link in the Booking Confirmation email.  We cannot guarantee the receipt of voicemails, social media messages, or emails of this nature.

If you forget your appointment or fail to cancel with sufficient notice, we cannot fill that time slot, and other clients will miss out on the chance to receive our services.

We realise that it is easy to forget an appointment, so our appointment reminder notifications are sent out the day before.

We will require a service fee pre-payment to secure all bookings.  This becomes the Cancellation Fee if the booking cannot be fulfilled.

Cancellation fees will apply during the following:

1. Less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a fee of 100% of the reserved service cost.
   
   
2. Missed appointments, “no shows”, or arriving late by more than 1/3 into the allocated time slot (e.g. 10 minutes into a 30-minute appointment) will not allow suitable time to perform the service booked.  This will require payment of 100% of the reserved service cost.
   
   
3. Cancellation of an appointment made within 24 hours prior will require at least 4 hours’ notice. A failure to provide it will result in a fee equal to 50% of the reserved service cost.
   
   
4. Multiple services not cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the appointment will be charged 100% of the reserved services’ cost. 
   
   
5. Bringing children to the appointment.  We cannot safely conduct the service when children are in the studio. We cannot be responsible for their supervision in the shop. This will incur a 100% fee of the reserved service cost.
   
   
6. Being under the minimum age for the specific piercing.  Minors (under 16s) require parental or legal guardian consent for lobe piercings, and parents must chaperone throughout the service booking.  We are unable to proceed with the service booking if the minor attends without a Parent/Legal Guardian or if the minor does not meet the minimum age.  In such cases, 100% of the service cost will be incurred.
   
   
7. Not bringing Government-issued Photo Identification for both individuals - the parent and the child - ELECTRONIC VERSIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.  We may accept a birth certificate if the child does not possess a Passport. 
   

8. Being under the minimum age required for a specific piercing as stated in the booking information. These are set by legislation, insurance or our own policy. 

9. Not bringing a doctor's note of approval for body piercings on those diagnosed with medical conditions such as epilepsy, haemophilia, heart conditions, blood-thinning medication or diabetes.
   

The purpose of this cancellation policy is to enable us to inform our standby clients of availability, keep our schedule full, and thus provide better service to each of our established and future clients.
