Beautiful bespoke and uniquely tailored jewellery is carefully welded together to create a permanent linked chain. Hinged clasps are not used (unless requested) and the jewellery is created as a memento to be cherished forever.
Yes! It's very easy to cut a link using wire cutters or even sharp scissors. And if you change your mind, we can re-weld it for you or add a hinged clasp. See our prices for more information.
We offer Forever Welded Jewellery in the following durable and long-lasting materials:
Sterling Silver
Bright, beautiful and durable and our most popular choice. Sterling Silver is an alloy made of 92.5% Silver with the rest comprising of copper, zinc and nickel to name a few. These elements can cause the alloy to tarnish when exposed to chlorine, sweat or chemicals but with simple aftercare it can retain its shine. We provide a polishing cloth to keep your jewellery sparkling!
Our Sterling Silver charms (without the gems) are Rhodium plated where a thin layer of Rhodium is electroplated to the Sterling Silver base metal. This improves the durability of the charm, by reducing the likelihood of tarnishing and offering more protection from external factors such as minor damage and scratching. Rhodium plating offers more protection to those that are sensitive to Sterling Silver!
Gold Vermeil
Pronounced "ver-mey", this material is high-quality gold plated jewellery. For UK requirements, Vermeil must contain a thick layer of at least 2.5 microns solid gold plated over Sterling Silver. It's a precious metal over another precious metal but complicated to manufacture so UK supplies are limited. Gold Vermeil is an ideal choice for those sensitive to Sterling Silver.
We have Gold Vermeil charms but prefer Gold Filled for our chains as a more durable, long-lasting option.
Gold Filled
An ideal choice for those wanting the look of gold but without the price tag! Gold filled jewellery (aka gold rolled), contains 100 times more gold than gold-plated and is far more durable to tarnishing and long-lasting too!
Gold-filled jewellery is made by bonding a thick layer of gold to a base metal of brass. The gold equates to 5% of the total weight and the jewellery is hypoallergenic and safe for those with sensitive skin!
9ct or 14ct Solid Gold
The most luxurious of all our chains and charms and the best way to invest in a treasured gift for yourself or someone special! Solid gold is hardwearing and less likely to tarnish, especially in 14ct gold.
We can offer solid gold but if the item exceeds a certain weight, and require hallmarking at one of the UK Assay Offices after welding. We are happy to assist with this but we will need advance notice to prevent any disappointment. Please contact us before booking as this choice will require two appointments.
We can customise the jewellery to the following styles:
Welding can cause conflict with pacemakers. We therefore offer a hinged clasp as a connector on a bespoke chain. This is welded safely away from the client.
All children must be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian. Only children aged 16 and above are able to receive Forever Welded Jewellery. Children under this age can still chose a unique piece, but we will weld a removable clasp. This is easier for school and other activities.
All you need to do is turn up for the appointment, complete a short consent form and don't forget to wear something practical if you are booking an anklet. We will need you to raise your foot a short height.
We currently perform welding via appointment only. We offer a relaxing 30-45 minutes where you can choose the chain and/or up to two types of charm connectors and dangles and sit down for the exciting part - the weld!
This very much depends on the style of jewellery you are looking for, the material and the length of the chain. The chain is purchased separately to the connectors or dangles to allow for the variety of choice available.
For example; A Gold Filled Double Rope Chain Bracelet with a Faux Opal Bezel Connector, as shown in the photo, costs £75.
Our Sterling Silver Bracelets without connectors or charms, start at £45.

Our Welders are trained, certified and insured to conduct safe jewellery welding.
We ask all clients to complete a Consent Form which contains all relevant safety information concerning the the welding process. We welcome all questions before and after the procedure and provide full aftercare instructions.
We use a state-of-the-art-welder for the safest procedure. It creates a tiny, low-temperature spark and for an extra safety step, we use a patch between the weld point and the skin. We will ask clients to wear safety goggles to protect the eyes from the tiny spark, during the quick procedure.
We have numerous types of chain to choose from in Sterling Silver, Gold Filled and Solid Gold. There's also lots of pretty connectors and dangles in Cubic Zirconia, faux Opal, and cute little animals and charms to match.
Our Welders at Isha conduct inspections to ensure your jewellery is properly welded before you leave. While we do not guarantee a lifetime weld, if your jewellery breaks weld point within the first month, you will receive one free re-weld. Additional welds are available at £15.00 each.
With regret, Isha cannot offer replacements, refunds, or discounts for lost chains due to the personal nature of the wearer's lifestyle, job, and external factors beyond our control.
