Isha Body Jewellery was created from a simple but uncompromising vision: to redefine

body piercing as a refined, intentional and deeply personal luxury experience. What began as a single-handed venture has grown into one of Dorset’s most distinctive specialist jewellery studios — built with care, shaped by experience, and grounded in craftsmanship.

With over 25 years of professional piercing experience, my career has spanned the evolution of the industry. When founding Isha, I wanted to create something markedly different — a space where safety, artistry and fine jewellery coexist seamlessly. Our niche lies in luxury body piercing and curated fine jewellery, specialising in solid gold, implant-grade materials and ethically sourced gemstones. Every piercing is approached not as a transaction, but as a considered design decision, tailored to the individual.

Operating within this niche has allowed Isha to thrive in a market that values expertise, trust and longevity. Clients travel to us not simply for a piercing, but for a level of care and aesthetic refinement that mirrors established fine jewellery boutiques. This positioning continues to shape our growth and the experience we offer.

Professional standards sit at the heart of everything we do. Isha Body Jewellery is proud to be Dorset’s only member of the Association of Professional Piercers, holding both APP and UKAPP memberships — globally recognised accreditations that reflect our commitment to best practice, education and client safety.

On a personal level, I am part of the global Pro Team for fine jewellery brand Junipurr and have twice represented the brand at the annual APP Conference in Las Vegas, drawing on my professional experience within an international setting.

A Woman-Led Studio

Today, Isha is no longer a one-woman operation — and that evolution has been one of my greatest achievements. I am proud to lead a small, highly skilled team of women who share the same commitment to excellence. From mentoring my piercing apprentice through rigorous professional training to developing our front-of-house jewellery specialists into confident consultants and creators, leadership at Isha is about responsibility, not hierarchy.

For me, building a business as a woman means trusting my instincts and setting standards that allow women to succeed without compromise.
