Enriched with Shea Butter, Jojoba, Grape seed oil, and Vitamin E, PurTat provides effective skin moisturisation to fresh ink and promotes initial and post-tattoo aftercare, while helping preserve the vibrancy of the tattoo.
How to use:
- Wash tattoo with PurSan and then apply a thin layer of PurTat over tattoo area until it is absorbed by the skin
- Be sure to wash tattoo 2-3 times a day with PurSan then re-apply following wash
- Try and avoid being out in the sun, sauna, steam, swimming pools or hot tubs while healing a fresh tattoo
- Be sure to use PurTat on all tattoos to help restore their look and shine
This item must be used within 24 months after removing the foil seal.

Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil: Emollient & Skin Conditioning Agent
- Light in texture and easily absorbs into the skin. Largely known for its anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, grapeseed oil also contains high amounts of omega fatty acids and vitamin E2—which makes it popular when it comes to formulating skincare.
Propanediol: Controls Viscosity
- Preservative-boosting humectant with excellent sensory characteristics. It is used as an emollient, skin penetration enhancer, and solvent with good moisturizing properties.
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter: Occlusive Skin Conditioning Agent
- Moisturizing and anti-inflammatory agent. It offers softness and more suppleness. It protects the skin from free radicals & oxidation and encourages epidermal regeneration & skin elasticity. It reduces the trans-epidermal water loss by forming a protective film.
Sodium Stearate: Surfactant, Emulsifier & Cleansing Agent.
- a cleansing, co-emulsifying & gelling (aqueous) agent and thickener.
Cetyl Alcohol: Surfactant & Emollient
- Used in many cosmetic, skin, and hair care products. It is an excellent consistency regulator. It acts as a viscosity controller.
Synthetic Beeswax: Binder & Emulsion Stabilizer.
- Non-animal ingredients derived from non-animal origin. It is a match of the physical & chemical properties of natural beeswax and can be a substitute for pure beeswax. It exhibits high binding strength, excellent plasticity, and emulsifying.
Dimethicone: Skin Conditioner & Protectant.

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil: Occlusive Emollient & Skin Conditioning Agent.
- Deep hydration, and long-lasting moisturisation. Soothes dry skin, anti-microbial properties. Full of nutrients like Vitamin E and B, as well as antioxidants and minerals like chromium, copper, and zinc, which all nourish and protect the skin.
Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate: Viscosity increasing agent & Emulsifier.
- Functions as a thickener and binding agent.
Steareth-20: Surfactant, Emulsifier & Cleansing Agent.
- Surfactants work to degrease and emulsify oils and fats allowing them to be washed away.
Caprylyl Methicone: Occlusive Skin Conditioning Agent
- Provides a silky-smooth feel, easy spreadability, and reduced greasiness.
Citric Acid: Natural preservative & conservative. Primarily to adjust the pH of products to prevent them from being too alkaline.
- Improves skin tone and skin growth reducing wrinkles, acne scars etc. Balances the pH levels in cosmetics.
Tocopheryl Acetate ( Vitamin E ): Antioxidant Skin Conditioning Agent. Reduces transepidermal water loss from the skin and strengthens and protects the skin's barrier function and oil (lipid) balance.
