Choosing the Correct Size

Captive beads are designed to fit specific ring gauges and diameters. Small indentations on either side of the bead accommodate the ring ends, helping hold it securely in place.

• 4mm bead: Suitable for 10–12mm diameter rings.
• Ring gauge: Choose the correct size for your 16g (1.2mm) or 14g (1.6mm) ring.

Important: A 14g bead may fit into a 16g ring, but the larger indentations can allow it to rotate. For the most secure fit, always match the bead gauge and ring diameter.
